Story: A young-adult brother and sister duo get grounded at Christmas after they break curfew. For the next few days, they find ways to sneak out of the house to go on night adventures around town. They later run into bank robbers hiding out in the hills, who then kidnaps the older sister. In the end the younger brother and his friends, including a boy wearing a Halloween Webman suit, get help from two retired forest service volunteers, and bring the fugitives to custody. Synopsis: PLOT-STORY outline for Tom Luong Films 'The Grounded': Somewhere in dusty, sweltering San Bernardino county, two creepy self-appointed criminals, decide it's a good time to walk into a small credit-union (bank), point a gun at the gorgeous bank-teller, and quickly depart with more than $1-million, guns blazing. Haybale Harrison and a man calling himself Tracker-Slayer, have little else to look forward to in life, but Tracker feels he has an 'excuse': he has always wanted to work as an airline pilot, and even trained to fly aircraft, but never reached his goal, and was 'grounded', something he bitterly resents. Everyone has problems, but for young-adult brother and sister Missy-Ann and Du Gong Peterson, bank robberies are not one of them, or so they think. The teen siblings live in the high-altitude vacation community, 6,000 feet above San Bernardino, in the stunningly beautiful Lake Arrowhead wilderness, a favorite for Southern California tourists during the winter. But this Christmas is 'different', and it....... Streaming Full Movie..

Yes, I wrote and produced 'Grounded!' for Tom Luong Films---what can Isay? Biased? Me? However, of the films I've written that have reachedthe small or large screen, 'Grounded!' has a special place in my heart.Director Tom Luong wanted to bring forward memories and enjoyment ofearly Steven Spielberg films like 'Goonies', and other hopeful,forward-looking family-style caper-comedies featuring young-adults.Family films are tough, and comedy is tougher than ever. It's all adeft bit of work---the wind and the rain, heavy snow, airplanes andstunning California mountains, fun and high-quality music andphotography, an enthusiastic cast with a ton of 'what it takes' to makea scene work---and some way-out story stuff that somehow all fitstogether into a modern-creepy-funny-Christmas tale, with apoint-of-view that can only be called 'current', as of 2011-12. This isindependent film-making, no apologia here that the lead-role is that ofa 19-year-old young woman---as things move ahead in 'Grounded!', it'sclear all the jokes and fun can change as quickly as the weather doesat 6,000-feet in the California desert-mountains. In all, a romp and aride, with a message for the times, and a few surprises that make for afun 90-minutes of film-audience appreciation. Please enjoy!
